LAUREL AND HARDY

Hardy and Laurel (or Laurel and Hardy) are brothers and have a unique bond. Most boy buns don't have a relationship like this but these two boys don't want to be separated. They can be a little shy, but I think it's a ploy to get me to bring out the carrots. Nothing shy about these 2 when treats are involved. Both enjoy a nice little pet and rub and enjoy racing around their pen, playing in tubes and tossing their toys. They are currently living in a xpen and we would like to see them adopted to someone who will give them the same arrangement. To inquire about adopting/meeting this house rabbit, please send an email to our Adoption Coordinator at Luvabunn@aol.com.

Our Business

Fostering:  serving as a regular foster home for rabbits, or serving as a short-term foster home during busy times such as after Easter or when a regular foster home is on vacation

Intake:  Volunteers can serve to rescue rabbits from the local shelter and take them to a veterinarian for a general health evaluation

Adoption:  Volunteers who are not able to foster are asked to help with adoption counseling and coordination.  This could involve screening applications, doing landlord and veterinary checks, home visits to foster homes or prospective adopters, adoption follow up via telephone.

Outreach:  Luv-N-Bunns volunteers will attend several outreach events throughout the year.  This allows us to educate the public on the importance of spay/neuters, litter training and proper handling of rabbits as well as raise donations for pet care.

Public Relations:  Volunteers work together in teams to create press releases, advertising, quarterly newsletters, educational materials and fundraising mailings and grant writing.

Operations:  Volunteers are always welcome to help with the transport of buns from various points throughout the U.S. that need to be relocated because of abandonment, hoarding situation, cruelty situation and more.  A network of people joint together to get the rabbit transported from the point of origin to a place where they will live the remainder of their life in a sanctuary or to a foster home so they can be put up for adoption.

Fundraising:  Luv-N-Bunns will hold several fundraising projects throughout the year to help meet veterinary expenses and to fund special projects like animal relocation, or the “Make mine Chocolate” campaign.
